The South Tech Academy of Culinary Arts Academy Mission Statement
The Culinary Arts Program at SouthTech Academy strives to provide students with real world knowledge and practical experience in a nurturing environment . Upon graduation students will have the skills to make them viable productive citizens. Purpose and Instruction We train each student to industry standards and certify their culinary skills, through multidimensional training in the classroom and kitchen. We also prepare students for actual jobs in the culinary field. Earning Power A graduate of this academy can expect to earn a competitive wage with unlimited growth potential. Applying Is Easy: All you have to do to make sure you meet our qualifications is complete an application for enrollment. Students must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0, (FCAT) level 2 scores in Math & Reading preferred, an acceptable discipline record, and a good attendance history. Our Program…
Focuses on teaching our students traditional fundamental cooking skills, such as, baking, pastry, dining room preparedness, presentation and etiquette. The students will receive training in kitchen and equipment operations, proper sanitation, menu and food preparation, and presentation in international foods.
