SouthTech Prep’s zSpace technology and MakerSpace provide the focus for the school’s STEAM activities.
The zSpace system integrates into normal life with desktop virtual reality that allows you to seamlessly move in and out of zSpace back to the real world. The zSpace curriculum, which is linked to the Common Core/Florida Standards, provides for more STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities throughout the curriculum. zSpace offers:

- Cyber Science 3D – an interactive virtual dissection experience focused on aiding in the learning and exploration of natural anatomy and mechanical structures;
- Newton’s Park – an open environment where teachers or students can set parameters to experiment with forces and objects in motion;
- Franklin’s Lab – a virtual reality environment where students can create circuit simulations as well as troubleshoot real world failure scenarios; and
- Cyber Anatomy Med VR – a 3D immersive stereographic technology that allows a user to visualize and to interact with complex anatomy through an intuitive and easy approach.
