Marine Technology

South Tech Academy provides an opportunity for high school students to train for a career in the Marine Engine and Service Industry.

This program focuses on broad, transferable skills and stresses, understanding and demonstration of the following:
  • Maintain & repair 2 & 4 stroke cycle engines
  • Repair electrical systems
  • Repair fuel systems
  • Use marine woods, metal and fiberglass and
  • Adjust and repair trailers
We offer employment assistance through our Job Placement Coordinator.
